YOGA CLASS

 

The purpose of this workshop is to delve deep, and quickly, to the inner self. We will be practising heart opening poses linked with vinyasa movements as the breath is the key to a meditative practice. This will follow with the Trataka meditation which will help you to strip away the ego and the chitta vrtti (mind chatter) to reveal your true self and your intention.
 Once we have opened our hearts and our minds we will move on to the intention and writing portion of the workshop. 

WRITING WORKSHOP


One of my favourite methods of connecting to my inner self was discovered in Canada nearly eight years ago. A way of writing that encouraged the critical part of the mind to ebb away and leave the true voice of the self pouring out on to paper. It's much easier than it sounds and yet it can be incredibly revealing and personal. 

Through the session you will be guided with writing prompts and there will be an invitation to share anything you have written should the mood take you. 

NOURISHING TREATS

Upon arrival you will be given a small warming mug of turmeric latte, following class you will enjoy a freshly juiced ginger, carrot and apple shot followed by a nourishing breakfast of homemade bircher, nut butters, fruit, avocado, breads, granola, homemade cashew and almond milk etc. Lastly, during the writing portion of workshop there will be a vegan cheesecake and healthy chocolate.
