NAYANA YOGA WEEKEND RETREAT

OCTOBER 4th-6th 2019, SOLD OUT!
BOOK NOW - EMAIL MADDY@NAYANAYOGA.CO.UK

Introducing a beautiful Yoga and Wellbeing retreat set in a magical woodland. Situated at the stunning private 6 acre woodland: ' The Green Escape' in Leith Hill, Surrey. A wonderful weekend of hatha & vinyasa yoga, tai chi, inner concious writing workshops, evening restorative yoga, meditation, walking meditation and nourishing vegan food. With plenty of sitting under the vibrant stars, listening to the quiet in the woods, surrounded by nature and simplicity, off grid and back to basics. Everything is optional, the retreat is yours to tailor as you see fit. Beginner's are welcomed with open arms!

We are a team of three who love to help others to feel their best! After a very successful first retreat in the woods we can't wait to return and to meet new guests (and returning!) in this beautiful space. We dreamt of the possibility of yoga focussed weekend retreats where we could put each of our skills to best use and create a harmonious space together.

MEET THE TEAM

MADDY KENDELL

YOGA INSTRUCTOR, WRITING WORKSHOP LEADER AND RETREAT HOST

I'm so excited to be teaching yoga on my own retreats. I have lots of experience with hosting events and am pleased to be able to put my skills towards a magical yogic retreat. I actively encourage the Sangha- community vibe and hope that all our guests will enjoy being together in the woods. There will be plenty of opportunity for reflection and private quiet time so you can find the perfect balance of practice and rest.

These retreats promise to be tranquil and contemplative, relaxing and joyful.

I'm also thrilled to be able to encourage a deeper connection with the 'Self' through my inner conciousness writing workshops. They are illuminating and a cathartic experience.
I look forward to seeing you in the woods! Namaste! X

RETREAT COORDINATOR

GEORGIE DODWELL

Georgie is joining me as my retreat coordinator. Her friendly face will most likely be the first you see when you arrive. Georgie will be taking care of all of the guests requirements and would be more than happy to help in any way she can. She will be an active part of keeping the woodland site clean and tidy and will be preparing lots of scrumptious snacks and meals for everyone to enjoy!
Georgie has been practicing yoga on and off for the last four years and still very much considers herself to be a beginner yogi. She's excited to have the opportunity to practice in the woods again!
"I'm looking forward to spending another weekend in the woods and can't wait to meet lots of lovely new people!"

TAI CHI, REIKI MASTER

JAN BADJI

Jan brings a wealth of knowledge and spiritual awareness to the woodland.    She's been practising and teaching Tai Chi for over twenty five years. She has a loyal following and loves encouraging people to connect with the Earth and their energy.
Jan has been playing and teaching African Drumming for fifteen years. She has travelled the world with her drumming troupe which resulted in her living in Africa for over five years. She now shares her time between the UK and her home in Senegal, we are blessed to have her be a part of the retreat.

WHAT OUR GUESTS HAVE SAID

" The retreat was warm, welcoming and relaxing. There were no expectations to have to attend every event and no preconceptions of ability. Everyone was warm and giving.
The writing workshop was illuminating by candlelight, a moving experience. African drumming was great fun - I discovered a rythmn I thought I didn't have. I would thoroughly recommend it for a back to nature experience!"

"Loved being out in the woods with the bluebells and the days were filled with a varied itinerary. Love the treats and the inner conscious writing workshop- there's a book in all of us!"

"Thank you once again for everything! It was a lovely experience. The food was really nice, I enjoyed it a lot. You're awesome!"

" Great chance to relax and disconnect from the normal busy lifestyle. Nutritious food and great company in a beautiful setting and magical woodland.
Maddy's yoga teaching style is calm and encouraging. Jan's Tai Chi was a new and interesting experience. I came away from both the Yoga and Tai Chi classes with a feeling of peace."
